Cozy Cocoa & Calming Carob
Sometimes comfort looks like a warm mug in small hands. This collection offers two simple, familiar drinks — one classic, one gentler — so families can choose what fits their bodies and nervous systems best.
Cocoa is rich and traditional, best enjoyed occasionally by those who tolerate it well. Carob offers a naturally sweet, cocoa-like flavor without caffeine, making it a calming option for evenings or sensitive systems.
Same cozy ritual. Different needs. No pressure.
Classic Cocoa
Rich • Familiar • Occasional Treat
Ingredients (1 mug):
1 cup milk of choice
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Pinch of salt
Splash of vanilla (optional)
How to make:
Whisk cocoa, sweetener, and salt with a little milk until smooth. Add remaining milk and heat gently. Stir in vanilla if using.
Calming Carob
Caffeine-Free • Gentle • Naturally Sweet
Ingredients (1 mug):
1 cup milk of choice
1 tbsp carob powder
1 tsp honey (or to taste)
Pinch of salt
Splash of vanilla (optional)
How to make:
Whisk carob and salt with a little milk until smooth. Add remaining milk and warm gently. Sweeten lightly and enjoy.
Gentle Note for Parents
Carob is often chosen for calmer moments because it contains no caffeine or stimulants, while cocoa can feel energizing for some. Both are included here so families can follow their own rhythms, preferences, and tolerance levels.
