Ground Beef or Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Light, fresh, and protein-rich lettuce wraps that are easy to digest and endlessly customizable — great for warm weather or quick meals.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
Sea salt to taste
Butter lettuce or romaine leaves
Optional Add-Ins
Finely shredded carrots
Diced zucchini
Fresh herbs (cilantro, basil)
Tomatoes and cheese
Nuts and seeds
Instructions
Sauté onion in oil until soft.
Add meat, garlic, ginger, and salt. Cook until browned.
Spoon into lettuce leaves and top with herbs or avocado cream sauce.
