This fresh mango salsa is lightly sweet, gently savory, and full of color—perfect for pairing with grilled meats, fish, or simple family dinners. It offers familiar textures and fresh flavors without being overwhelming, making it easy to adapt for sensory preferences.
Ingredients
2 ripe mangos, peeled and diced
1–2 tomatoes, diced
¼–½ red onion, finely chopped
1 small pepper, finely diced(bell pepper for mild, jalapeño for heat—optional)
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice of ½ lime (optional but recommended)
Sea salt, to taste
Instructions
Add diced mangos, tomatoes, onion, and pepper to a bowl.
Gently stir in chopped cilantro.
Add lime juice (if using) and a pinch of sea salt.
Mix gently and taste. Adjust salt or lime as needed.
Chill for 10–15 minutes or serve immediately.
Serving Ideas
Spoon over grilled chicken, steak, or fish
Serve alongside tacos or kabobs
Offer plain on the side for kids who prefer separation
